Chitral is a mountain district in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa beneath Tirich Mir. The nearby Kalash valleys of Bumburet, Rumbur and Birir are home to the Kalash people.

By road through the Lowari Tunnel from Dir, or by flight to Chitral when operating.
