Naran
Naran is the main town of the Kaghan Valley along the Kunhar River in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Lake Saiful Muluk lies a short jeep ride above the town.
Best time to visit
May to September; the upper valley is usually closed by snow in winter.
Getting there
By road from Islamabad via Mansehra and Balakot.
