At a glance
A Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah authorised agent is one booking route. Eligible applicants may also book directly through the official Nusuk Umrah platform. Pakistan appears among its serviced countries, but your verified nationality, residence and profile determine the options actually offered. A blanket claim that every Pakistani passport holder must use an external agent is not supported by these official routes.
Do not confuse Nusuk Umrah with tourist eVisa eligibility or the separate Nusuk Hajj programme. Check whether the selected product includes visa issuance. A package without a visa does not mean visa-free entry. Before paying, verify the provider’s authorisation and obtain a written description of the application, inclusions and refund terms.
Travel tips
Ihram is the pilgrimage state; Miqat refers to the designated boundaries associated with entering it. Tawaf is circling the Kaaba, while Sa’i is the passage between Safa and Marwah. Haram means the sacred sanctuary. Rawdah is a designated area within the Prophet’s Mosque. These short explanations help with planning, not religious rulings.
Keep offline copies of your visa, accommodation, permit and emergency contacts. Treat them as separate items on your checklist. Follow staff directions and the current Nusuk instructions; do not assume general mosque access includes a Rawdah appointment or that advertising can guarantee one.
How to plan
Step 1 — check your chosen official visa route and individual eligibility. Read the passport-validity rule for that route and season; do not use an expiry cutoff copied from an older post. Ask how unsuccessful applications and changes are handled before giving an agent your documents.
Step 2 — prepare the valid passport, identity and applicant details, photographs and any supporting records requested by the official application. Names and dates must match. Keep the application reference and copies securely. Do not publish passport scans or identity numbers in public messages.
Step 3 — arrange confirmed accommodation and keep hotel names, addresses, dates, room occupancy, booking references and contacts. Confirm transfers and intercity transport where required. Nusuk comprehensive packages include accommodation; check the current booking requirements for your particular visa route rather than assuming every visa category has identical conditions.
Step 4 — review vaccination requirements with a qualified provider and obtain the required records. Keep prescribed medicine in labelled packaging and ask about individual health needs. Airline documentation checks and Saudi entry requirements both need confirmation for the actual season.
Step 5 — check the issued visa’s entry conditions and permitted stay. Arrange the Umrah permit through Nusuk before heading to perform Umrah at Masjid al-Haram. A Rawdah prayer appointment in Madinah is booked separately. Neither replaces a visa or is a Hajj permit. Season opening, closing and appointment availability change, so reconfirm before travel.
Travel safety
The retrieved Saudi Umrah health list is for 1447H/2026; it is not presented here as a confirmed rule for every later season. It requires meningococcal ACWY vaccination for intending Umrah performers and polio vaccination/certification for arrivals from Pakistan. Ask the vaccination provider about the applicable vaccine type, timing and certificate, using the current Ministry of Health list.
Seasonal influenza vaccination is recommended rather than listed as mandatory in the retrieved document. These three vaccines are not the complete list: other origin-based or risk-group requirements may apply. Recheck the current health hub before booking and again before departure. Do not substitute this practical guide for professional medical advice.
Rules change every season. Check the official source before you book.
